Snail mail and illuminated letters

Over the past few years I’ve developed an interest in seeing what I can share with people for the cost of sending a letter.

To me, letters and snailmail are a different form of communication; they offer the chance to express oneself uninterrupted, and like a time capsule, they capture the energy of a particular moment, to be delivered to the intended and enjoyed at their leisure.

This also allows me a chance to disperse some of the small creations that I am constantly churning out as part of my own internal processes, which may or may not bring a postage-stamp’s worth of a smile to someone else’s day.

These days, in the serene enclosure of my garden, I am meditating upon the wonderful humans I have in my life, and what I cherish about them. I have begun creating small decorative ecoprinted pieces to celebrate people as they come to mind. If you happen to get one of these pieces, you may be interested to know of the flowers and plants that have been included in it, and their historical symbolism.

Doer of things

you are cordially invited…

…to see the world as I see it!

I have come to realize that as a neurodivergent human, I see and interpret the world in a slightly different way.

I have also learned that the things I create can communicate in a way that my words cannot. Here are some of my photos of some of my favourite things.
